Why Choose Charlotte's Pet First Aid Class?

Charlotte brings both years of experience and a passion for pet care to her first aid classes. Her hands-on approach and in-depth knowledge make her the perfect instructor for anyone looking to learn pet first aid. Charlottes classes are also governed and accredited by ProTrainings Ltd, to the highest level of CPD. You also have the fantastic addition of Paige Burton; a DTC qualified Dog trainer joining the class. You will have the chance to ask her everything you need to know about Canine behaviour and how dogs present themselves differently in an emergency.

All of our in person, CPD accredited and fully certified classes are held at Woolston Community Centre, SO19 9FU from 10:45AM - 3PM over the weekends. 

(Please note, our classes are for humans only).


Canine First Aid Level 2 (VTQ) classes:


Saturday 21st of June

Sunday 20th of July

Saturday 13th of September

Saturday 11th of October

Saturday 15th of November


Each Level 2 (VTQ) class boasts 4 hours of accredited CPD, a digital certificate, an A5 pet first aid manual, downloadable pet first aid materials, a handy leaflet pack with lots of useful information on how to keep your pets safe, plus unlimited tea & coffee! 


You will also have the opportunity to buy pre-made travel pet first aid kits on the day.

Classes are priced at £60 per person.

Once you've decided which date you would like to attend, you will receive an invoice. Once the invoice has been paid, you'll be officially booked in!

  • Understanding Poisoning: Identify symptoms of poisoning and learn how to respond effectively to various toxins that your pet may encounter.
  • Emergency Procedures: Understand the steps to take in a range of situations, from choking and seizures to heatstroke and hypothermia.
  • Preventative Care: Get tips on how to prevent injuries and illnesses, ensuring your pet stays healthy and happy.
  • Learn how to bandage: Get hands on experience with bandaging and the use of first aid equipment.
  • Fully CPD accredited and certified classes: Each class boasts 4 hours of accredited CPD plus you will be awarded a certificate upon completion.
  • ITG Pet first aid refresher emails and newsletters: Offering lots of information and top tips to keep your pets safe.
